Personnal rating I really loved that movie! The general mood coming out from actors, lyrics, music, was so pretty arranged that I was like able to felt as well what characters were living. This movie would appears as a "too slow" for some however it can not be in another way, indeed, we are talking about 2 novelists on plenty creation merged with their lovely live, their fears, their paranoid, ...
To be watched?: Yes, especially if you like psychologicals movies instead of pure action. TO BE avoid in case of your idol is called A. Schwarzenegger.
Personnal Score: 7,5/10 - IMDB Score: 5/10

SLEEPY HOLLOW
Director: Tim Burton
Writers (WGA): Washington Irving (story) & Kevin Yagher (screen story)
Release Date: 9 February 2000 Genre: Fantasy / Horror / Thriller. Plot Outline: Ichabod Crane is sent to Sleepy Hollow to investigate the decapitations of 3 people with the culprit being the legendary apparition, the Headless Horseman.
Awards: Won Oscar. Another 21 wins & 28 nominations
My point of view : Just like in most of Tim Burton's movies, there's this poetic and dark aspect... Plus, Johnny Depp creates an Ichabod Crane never seen before. He's an anti-hero : easily scared, not brave, and he has all this funny gadgets he uses ! Well anyway, i cant say more, just WATCH IT ! It's not complicated (good for small brains), and not scrary (for pussies) !

Grindhouse is a theatre genre, especially composed of violence, sex, alcool and lots of blood. It’s often Japanese, Chinese, American movies produced not to make lot of profit and without exceptional and expensive budget. (some genre in grindhouse could be : slasher, women’s prison, r/\pe and revenge, sexploitation, etc.)
Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez decided to create a double movie pack of grindhouse genre.
The first opus, directed and produced by Quentin Tarantino, called Death Proof –Bouleverd de la Mort in French, which is such a bad translation) was released on April 6, 2007 in the USA. It is a ‘slasher film/serial killer style’ for the first part then ‘r/\pe and revenge movie’ at the end. But more than to be that kind of movie, it is a tribute from Tarantino to this genre of movies.
The story speaks about a psychopathic stuntman who targets young women and slaughtering them with his stunt car.
Actors :
Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson, Vanessa Ferlito, Jordan Ladd, Sydney Poitier, Tracie Thoms, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Zoë Bell and Rose McGowan
The second opus, directed and produced byRobert Rodriguez, called Planet Terror was released on April 6, 2007 in the USA, same date as Death Proof in order to respect grindhouse movies.
It is a tribute to zombie style and gore movies by Robert Rodriguez. It often look like a parody of gore and zombie movies.
This opus speaks about people trying to survive to an onslaught of zombies. Theses zombies are humans after they absorbed some military gas. The story takes place in the same state as Death Proof in order to have same period, same actors and having two movies/stories inside one.
Actors :
Rose McGowan, Freddy Rodriguez, Josh Brolin, Marley Shelton, Michael Biehn, Jeff Fahey, and Bruce Willis.
The specificity of Tarantino and Rodriguez’s movie is that they included five Fake Trailers!
- Machete, produced by Robert Rodriguez (will produce a feature movie because this trailer is so good!)
- Werewolf Women of the SS, produced by Rob Zombie
- Don't, produced by Edgar Wright
- Thanksgiving, produced by Eli Roth
- Hobo with a Shotgun, Jason Eisener, John Davies and Rob Cotterill
My opinion about this grindhouse movie style called Grindhouse.
I loved it so much, it really looks like a tribute to very special movie style.
Death Proof if fully Tarantino’s style, with fucking good music, perfect actors as psychopathic as charismatic. There is a lot of suspense.
Planet Terror is a very funny film. From the beginning to the end, you can laugh so much watching zombies exploding like water-balloons on the road. Really looks like a parody.
Finally, Grindhouse is not just another Tarantino and Rodriguez movie. It is more than it. It is a tribute to an old style which seems to be lost with all theses blockbusters and super-productions, a tribute, even if it could be seein as a parody.
Tarantino and Rodriguez make movies for fun and pleasure, for Art, that's what i think.
As a conclusion, i'll say that Grindhouse without Fake trailers, without parody, without this kinda tribute wouldnt be Grindhouse!

Reservoir Dogs
Trailer:
NRG, listen to 00:40 its for you
Directed by: Quentin Tarantino
Release Date: October 23, 1992
Synopsis: I need to cheat on wikipedia because it is too hard to explain
"It portrays what happened before and after a botched jewel heist, but not the heist itself."
Two of the six gangsters finally come back in a wharehouse where they had to meet after the heist which was a massacre. They have been traped by the police before the heist and they are hardly discussing about who could be the traitor.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Trailer:
Directed by: Steven Spielberg
Release Date: May 22, 2008
Synopsis:
In 1957, Indiana Jones have to fight against Soviets who wants to discover the secret of a strange Crystal Skull which could have paranomals powers. Indiana Jones will travel from USA (Nevada) to South America in order to find the secret of thousand years!
Actors:
Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent
My Opinion:
This opus is a very good one! There is a very heavy suspens from the begining to the end.
A movie in its time, indeed by watching this Indiana Jones, you have to get back to 1957 and think as poeple think at this time (scientist, religion and paranormal). I don't say anything more in order to respect poeple who will see the movie later
I loved this young actor nammed Shia Saide LaBeouf, very good

I went to see it with sdym. I loved the all movie, except on the end (too many SPECIAL EFFECTS) ! But there's still the same 'magic' that was present in the 3 others. It's one of the best of the series, after the first one of course ! It's funny, it's entertaining, it's ... INDIANA JONES people !
